Setting the alarm clock
Your radio has two separate alarms which can be set to wake you to
either the radio or a buzzer alarm. In the event of a power interruption
your radio has built in memory that will retain your alarm settings.
Ensure that the time is set correctly before setting the alarms.
1. Press the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button, the Alarm 1 icon or Alarm 2
icon
and “ALARM OFF” symbol will show on the display. Continue
holding down the Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 button until a beep sounds to
enter the alarm setting. The Alarm 1 icon or Alarm 2 icon will
flash on the display.
2. The hour setting of alarm (1 or 2) will also begin to flash. Rotate the
Tuning control knob to select the required alarm hour, and press and
release the Select button to confirm the setting. After completion of
the hour setting the minutes digits will then flash, follow the above
setting steps to set the minutes. If the radio has been set to the 12
hour clock format, there will also be an option here for setting AM or
PM for the alarm time.
3. Then the display will show the frequency options for the alarm.
The alarm options are as below:
ONCE- the alarm will sound once
DAILY- the alarm will sound everyday
WEEKDAY- the alarm will sound only on weekdays
WEEKEND- the alarm will sound only at weekends
Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose the alarm options and then
press and release the Select button to confirm the setting.
4. Then the alarm types (BUZZER/FM TUNER/AM TUNER) will appear
and flash on the display. Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose
the desired alarm type then press and release the Select button to
confirm the setting. To select “BUZZER”, the BUZZER Alarm (1 or 2)
icon will appear and flash and “BUZR VOLx” will also appear on the
display. Rotate the Tuning control knob to choose the volume level
and press the Select button to confirm the setting. To select “FM
TUNER” or “AM TUNER”, the Radio Alarm (1 or 2) icon will appear
and flash and “FM TUNER” or “AM TUNER” will also appear on the
display. Rotate the Tuning control knob to select the desired station
and press the Select button to confirm the setting. Then rotate the
Tuning control knob to select volume level and press the Select
button to confirm the setting.
