Operator’s Manual  Sanli GT26 / 9 

To  avoid  the  risk  of  explosion,  do  not  use  the  thermal  edge  trimmer  in 
areas where there are flammable materials such as liquids, gas or dust. 

In  order  to  avoid  fire  risk,  do  not  start  the  machine  close  to  refuelling 
areas 

WARNING: 

Some parts of the engine are very hot and can cause severe burns. In 

particular, do not touch the motor or the exhaust pipe.

After using the petrol trimmer 

  Before carrying out  any maintenance,  make sure that the 

Start/Stop

 switch 

is  in  the 

STOP

  position, 

and  check  that  the  nylon  spool  has  completely 

stopped

. Remove the spark plug cover. 

Do not transport the thermal edge trimmer unless the engine is stopped, 
the 

Start/Stop 

switch  is  in  the 

STOP 

position  and  the  nylon  spool  has 

completely stopped. 

Remove  any  cutting  debris  and  clean  any  dirt  from  the  thermal  edge 
trimmer before putting it away. 

  Always follow the maintenance instructions.   

  After  each use,  check  that  the  safety features  are  functioning  properly,  that 

the cutting tool is firmly in place and that the parts remain in good condition. 

  Maintain the tool and replace all worn or damaged parts. 

  Only have your trimmer repaired by qualified personnel and only use original 

parts or those approved by SANLI UK. 

Keep the trimmer clean and always store it unplugged, in a dry place, out 
of the sun and out of reach of children

. 

  Keep this user manual in a safe place and consult it every time you use this 

tool.

Usage Guidelines 

Modifications  not  authorised  by  SANLI  can  render  the  tool  dangerous  and 
may lead to serious injuries during use. SANLI UK will not accept any liability 
for  any  type  of  misuse  or  for  any  use  which  does  not  conform  to  these 
instructions or to current regulations. 
 

WARNING: 

All cleaning, transport and maintenance operations must be carried 

out with the motor off and the Start/Stop switch in the STOP position.
