●
Never travel on a steep slope, which could
cause your machine to tip over.
●
The bucket must be lifted 20-30 cm above
the ground during traveling.
●
Never travel reversely down a slope.
●
Never turn your machine on a slope or tra-
verse a slope.
●
The above operations must be carried out
on a level ground. You might have to travel
a long distance for the sake of safety.
●
The operations must be performed in this
way because the machine can be stopped
safely at any time when it skids or be-
comes instable.
●
If the track shoes skid or the power of
tracks is unable to help your machine run
up a slope, never use the pulling force of
arm to run up the slope as that could dam-
age your machine.

1. The travel control lever and fuel control dial
are used to keep your machine traveling at
a low speed when running down a steep
slope. When angle of the slope is more
than 15°, adjust your work equipment to
an attitude as shown in the right illustration
and lower engine speed.
2. When running up a steep slope, it is
necessary to move your work equipment
to the forward direction. Maintain the work
equipment at about 20-30 cm above the
ground and travel at a low speed.
