Maintenance of battery
•
Do not allow anyone other than the authorized personnel to carry
out the maintenance and inspection of the inside of the
equipment. Failure to do so may cause an electric shock, personal
injury, burn, fuming and/or fire.
•
Replace the battery periodically. If the battery is used, the service
life of which has expired, this may cause a fire.
•
For battery cleaning, never use organic chemistry such as
gasoline, thinner and benzine or detergent. If these are put, box
may be cracked and leak occurring a fire.
(1) Standard of battery replacement

Confirm battery service life according to
§
3.14, “Checking Battery Service Life” in
the
LCD Panel Operation Manual
. If replacement is required, replace according to
“10.5 Replacement of battery”.

The service life of battery may be shortened depending on the operating coditions,
such as ambient temperature or number of discharge cycles. Particularly, the
temperature may greatly affect the service life of battery as shown in the table
below. (The following table shows the reference relationship between the ambient
temperature and service life of the battery.) If the battery is used, the service life
of which are expired, this may cause the battery fluid to leak or burn. To secure safe
operation, always replace the battery earlier than the specified invertal.

and ALARM(Red) LED blinking) is displayed, contact your supplier early to
prepare for replacement.
(2) Battery specification
The battery is specially designed for this equipment. Do not use a battery other than
that specified.
Additionally, do not mix the batteries with the different manufactures and types.
Doing so may cause the service life of battery to be shortened.
(3) Battery after replacement
Battry is industrial waste. It contains lead, a toxic material. If the battery is used and
needs to be disposed of, always ask the authorized industrial waste handling
company or pack the used battery in the original carton and send it to your local sales
representative.
