How to stop playing the CD and listen to
the radio
1.
Press the Stop/Play button (6) once. The
track number will disappear and the radio
mode is set. (DISC IN does not disappear).
2. Tune the radio to a desired station and
receive a broadcast.
3. Change the radio station to FM 89.1 MHz
to go back to playing a disc.
4. Press the Stop/Play button (6) again. The
track number is displayed and the disc
b e g i n s t o b e p l a y e d .
Note:
When a disc is replayed after being
s t o p p e d , i t w i l l p l a y f r o m t h e b e g i n n i n g o f
the track played last.
Reset button function
Reset button (2) is placed on the front panel
and must be activated with either a pen or
thin metal object. The Reset button is to be
activated for the following reasons:
1 .
I n i t i a l i n s t a l l a t i o n o f t h e u n i t w h e n a l l
wiring is
c o m p l e t e d .
2. When CD player is not functioning
properly and the unit is not accepting the
disc.
The reset circuitry is provided to protect the
unit’s microprocessor and laser guidance
system.
INSTALLATION

When mounting the unit in your car, make
sure the unit is level. If you can not mount
the unit level due to your cars design, make
sure there is no more than
tilt.
l
In order to protect the disc player from
shocks during shipping, a shipping screw is
attached to the disc player. Remove the
screw. The player can not play a disc with
the screw in.
Installation with mounting kit
1.
Insert mounting bracket into
standard cutout 182 x 53mm in the
dashboard or a console.
2. Bend the stoppers of the mounting
bracket with a screwdriver, and secure the
bracket firmly to the dashboard.
3. Fix the mounting bracket by using the
m o u n t i n g h a r d w a r e s u p p l i e d .
4. Insert the set into the mounting bracket
u n t i l i t l o c k s .
CONNECTIONS
Wire colour code
RED:
V DC to fuse block.
BLACK: to chassis ground.
ANTENNA PLUG (female): to the car
a n t e n n a .
ANTENNA JACK (male): to antenna input
of your car radio.
CAUTION
l
Be sure to use a 5amp fuse to replace
the fuse is blown.
l
Connect the red power input lead only
after all other leads have been connected.
Be sure to connect the red power input
lead to the continuous
V DC power
terminal of the fuse block.
After connection is completed, be sure to
press the RESET button (2).
