To initialize the hard disk:
Press the MENU button to open the MAIN MENU
screen, and choose “3. GENERAL SET”.
On the GENERAL SET screen, choose “4. HDD
SET”.
Choose “DISK INITIALIZE” and turn the S-dial
clockwise.
A WARNING screen appears. Choose “YES”, and
then turn the S-dial clockwise.

The hard disk is initialized.
When you are done, press the EXIT/OSD button.

To remotely control an optional dome
camera:

This procedure assumes that your recorder is connected with an
optional dome camera that can be remotely controlled.
Press the MENU button to open the MAIN MENU
screen, and choose “3. GENERAL SET”.
On the GENERAL SET screen, choose
“7. CAMERA CONTROL SET”.
On the CAMERA CONTROL SET screen, choose
“1. PROTOCOL/ADDRESS SET”.

Select the channel to which the dome camera is
connected, and turn the S-dial clockwise.
Configure the protocol settings.
When you are done, press the EXIT/OSD button.
Press the FUNC. Button, and remotely control the
dome camera using the buttons on the panel
(Available in the full-screen display).

beneath them.
