Activating Your Phone
There are three basic scenarios for activating your new
phone:
A.
You purchased your phone at a Sprint Store.
It is probably
activated and ready to use.
B.
You received yourphone in the mail, and it is a new Sprint
account ora new phone number.
Your phone is
designed to activate automatically when you first turn
it on. To confirm your activation, make a phone call.
C.
You received yourphone in the mail and you are switching
numbers from a previous Sprint phone to the new phone.
You need to contact Sprint to activate the number on
your new phone. There are two options for activation
in this instance:

From your computer’s Web browser, go to
www.sprint.com/activate
and complete the
onscreen instructions to activate your phone.
n
Contact Sprint Customer Service at 1-888-211-
4727 for assistance with activation.
When you have finished, make a phone call to
confirm your activation.
Note
If you are having difficulty with activation, contact
Sprint Customer Service by dialing
1-888-211-
4727
from any other phone.
Tip
Do not press
END
while the phone is being
activated. Pressing
END
cancels the activation
process.
Note
Your phone’s battery should have enough charge
for your phone to turn on and find a signal, set up
your voicemail, and make a call. You should fully
charge your battery as soon as possible. See
“Charging the Battery” on page 17 for details.
