Semi-Auto Search mode
Semi-Automatic Channel Search
Press the TV MENU button on the remote control to display the
On-Screen TV Menu
Highlight the Preset icon from the main menu by pressing the
Point Up/Down button, and press the Point Right button to
select "SEMI.". (Initially the Auto mode is selected.)

This mode can be utilized when you wish to set channels in your
desired positions.
Use this function to search receivable channels automatically and
store them in your desired positions manually.
Press the Point Up/Down button to highlight the Search icon and
then press the Point Right/Left button twice to start the channel
search. The channel search will be started from the current
channel position.

When the LCD Projection TV has detected a receivable station,
and the pointer has stopped, press the ALTERNATE (
p
)
button to return to the main menu. If you wish to skip the
detected channel, press the Point Right/Left button. The
channel search will start again.

NOTE:
In Semi-Automatic Channel Search mode, set the Color system to AUTO and SIF system to S-
1(Auto) normally. Under difficult receiving conditions, set the Color system and SIF system
manually to obtain optimum picture and clear sound if necessary. (p29-30)
Press the Point Up/Down button to highlight the Position icon
and then select a desired channel position where the detected
station is stored by pressing the Point Right/Left button.

Press the Point Up/Down button to highlight the Memory icon
and then press the Point Right button to set the channel. "OK"
will be displayed and the channel setup is completed.

Repeat step No.3 to No.6 to go on the remaining channels set-
up.

Pointer
The pointer stopped when a receivable station is
detected.
