Select the tamper detection mode.
Select [Tamper Det. Mode] in the Option
menu on the menu bar.
Options:
•
Simultaneous with playback
(default):
Performs tamper detection during
playback.
Audio is not played back.
•
Prior to start playing back:
Performs batch tamper detection
before playback.
When playback is conducted after
tamper detection, audio is included.

Conduct playback of video files.
Register the video files you want to
appraise for tampering on the play
waiting list and click [OK] (see P124).
Appraisal is started according to the
tamper detection mode.

Display of appraisal results.
Playback is started and the appraisal results
are displayed in the color of the title bar of the
video currently being played back.
•
Blue:
When playback starts, the title bar turns
blue, and remains blue until tampering is
detected. If the title bar is still blue when the
playback ends, it means that no tampering
is found in the video file.
•
White:
The title bar turns white if any tampering is
detected during the playback.
•
Green:
If a tampered frame is detected, the title bar
remains green and does not revert to blue,
even after the check moves past the
tampered section.
If the title bar is still green when the
playback is completed, this means that
tampering has been detected from the file.
•
Tamper appraisal can be
started simply by dragging and
dropping video files into the
playback screen area.
•
Once the [Tamper Det.] check
box is selected, any attempts to
play back files by
double-clicking them on the
play waiting list are invalid.
In the case of “Simultaneous with
playback”
If tampering of date and time
information is detected, the display
is as follows.

Black
Date and time information:
Red
