SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
Example:
Setting the date and time to 2: 10 P.M.,
December 24, 1994.
When holding the
DATE
button to set the date and time,
the numbers will change rapidly. When the desired setting
approaches, release the button, then press it repeatedly
so that the desired number is not missed.
Use a thin object, such as a pen, to press the
ADJ
button
on the bottom of the camcorder.

Set the
POWER
switch to
"CAMERA".

Press the
ADJ
button for about two seconds. The reset
time (0:00:00) and date ( 1. 1. 1993) are displayed
flashing.

Press the
DATE
button until the desired day (24) is set,
then press the
ADJ
button.

Press the
DATE
button until the desired month ( 12) is
set, then press the
ADJ
button.

Press the
DATE
button until the desired year ( 1994) is
set, then press the
ADJ
button.

Press the
DATE
button until the desired hour ( 14 (2
P.M.)) is set, then press the
ADJ
button.

Press the
DATE
button until the desired minutes ( 10)
are set.
The seconds counter will start counting from
"00"
when
the
ADJ
button is pressed after setting the minutes. To
set the seconds accurately, press the
ADJ
button in
coordination with the actual time indication (radio
signal, etc.).
�Notes:
•The date and time are not displayed when the
POWER
switch is set to
"PLAYER".
•The date and time cannot be set while in recording
or playback mode.
•If
"88:88"
is displayed flashing, it indicates that the
lithium battery is exhausted. Replace it with a new
one, and reset the date and time.
•The date and time need to be set only once.
However, they will need to be reset after the lithium
battery is replaced.
