EZ FeliCa
EZ FeliCa is a service that allows you to use a cellphone that has the
built-in contactless IC card technology known as "FeliCa". By simply
holding the W51SA up to a Reader/Writer (external device)*, your phone
can be used for shopping with a credit card and/or e-money, as a
members' card, point card, and for receiving coupon information.
In order to use EZ FeliCa, it is necessary to download the application of
the company offering the service that you want to use. The "QUICPay
™
(
クイックペイ
)" credit service is preinstalled at the time of purchase. See
page 77 for details.
* A device used at the cash register of participating stores that reads/writes
data to/from the FeliCa chip.

Cautions when using EZ FeliCa
• Be careful not to lose your W51SA cellphone. If you do happen to lose
the phone, contact the company offering the EZ FeliCa service that
you are using as soon as possible.
• It is recommended that you turn ON the FeliCa Lock and Remote Ctrl
Lock as a precaution in the case of loss or theft.
• KDDI is not responsible for any loss of data caused by the loss of, theft
of or accident involving your cellphone.
• Be sure to carefully and securely manage all security codes and
passwords.
Members' cards
You can use it as a members'
card or a point card as well.
Shopping
You shop using e-money,
credit cards, etc.
Coupons
You can receive and use discount
coupons, etc., right in the store.
Transportation tickets
You can use transportation
services with a single cellphone.
You can pay for online charges and perform
various other procedures anytime, anywhere.
