FRENCH COFFEE PRESS
INSTRUCTION MANUAL
WARNING
•
The French Coffee Press is not dishwasher safe. Washing it in a dishwasher may result
in damage. Wash the coffee press only by hand.
•
Wash all parts in warm soapy water before using for the first time.
•
Always check to make sure the lid is secured before pouring the coffee into cups.
•
This product is not for microwave use.
•
Do not use bleach or cleansers containing chlorine to clean.
•
Do not over fil. Hot liquids can scald the user.
•
When filled with hot liquids, keep out of reach of children.
HOW TO USE
1.
Place your Sapir® French Press on a dry, flat, non-slip surface. Holding handle firmly,
pull the plunger straight up and out of pot.
2.
Place coffee in pot, following the recommended tablespoons per cup from your
package.
Note:
Press French Coffee may result in more sediment than traditional brewing
methods. For best result and to minimize sediment, a coarse even ground is
recommended.
3.
Pour hot water into the pot, leaving at least 1 inch of space at the top. Stir with a
plastic spoon.
4.
Place plunger on top of the pot and press down slightly to position plunger only. Do
not press plunger down completely. Turn the lid to close the spout opening. Let the
coffee steep for 4 to 5 minutes.
