CHEMICAL PUMP
The
RAGE
®
unit features a stainless steel
chemical pump and metering system. The
chemical pump requires only the replacement of
the diaphragm and check valves. To replace the
diaphragm, unscrew the cover from the body.
When replacing the diaphragm, lube the outer
edges of the diaphragm with o-ring lubricant
(Part #13-003) and reassemble.
To replace the check valves, remove the check
valve caps, replace the check valves and
reassemble using new o-rings.
DO NOT
attempt
to reuse o-rings after the check valves have been
removed.
PACKING NUT ADJUSTMENT
CHEMICAL
METERING/SELECTOR VALVES
Inspect the packing nut for proper tension on the
chemical metering and chemical selector valves
every
200 hours.
When turning the knob, there
should be some resistance. If not, slightly tighten
the packing nut.
DO NOT
over-tighten. Keeping
the packing properly adjusted will eliminate
possible leaks and will add to the overall life of
the valves.
Adjust the packing nut
by turning the packing
bolt clockwise at 1/16”
increments.
