operating instructions carefully before operating
your new balance.
In the first part of these installation and operating
instructions, it is assumed that you are using the factory-
set menu codes.

Do not miss out on the benefits of our full warranty.
Please complete the warranty registration card,
indicating the date of installation, and return the card
to your Sartorius office or dealer.
Storage and Shipping Conditions
Allowable storage temperature:
+5°C ... +40°C
+41°F ...+104°F
The packaging has been designed to ensure that
the balance will not get damaged even if it is dropped
from a height of 80 cm max. (about 32 inches).
Carefully unpack the balance and check the
equipment immediately for any visible damage
as a result of rough handling during shipment.
If this is the case, proceed as directed in the section
entitled “Safety Inspection.”
Save the box and all parts of the packaging in case
you need to ship your balance. For shipping your
balance, disconnect all cables before packing. Use
only the complete original standard packaging to
prevent damage to the equipment during shipment.
Do not expose the balance unnecessarily to extreme
temperatures, moisture, shocks, blows or vibrations.
