Once the display indicates a zero readout, press the
f
key

. The built-in calibration weight will now
be internally applied by servomotor. Then the
deviation of the current readout from the target weight
(displayed in grams only) will be indicated.
If external interference affects the calibration test,
you may obtain a brief display of the error message
“
Err 02
.”
In this case, tare the display; then press the
f
key
again once a zero readout is indicated.
Important Note:
The balance/scale should be calibrated if the
deviation of the readout from zero is more than the
reproducibility specified for standard balances
and more than the verification scale interval specified
for balances/scales acceptable for verification.

scale in Part 6.
