Front Window Hinge Adjustment
Throughout the life of your AirHawk hood it may be necessary to adjust the front window
hinges. The window hinges are designed to hold the window in the up position and slow the
window should it be accidently knocked down into the closed position. They are not however
designed to hold the window in a straight horizontal position.
1.
To tighten the friction on the hinge which will better hold the front window; turn the hinge
adjustment screw clockwise with a
#2 Philips screwdriver.
2.
If the hinge it too tight for your preference the turn the adjustment counter-clockwise to
loosen the grip.
NOTE: All hinges on the hood should equally be adjusted in the same manner.
Caution: Do not loosen the hinge tension screws to the point that the lid will easily and
quickly fall from an open position. Personal injury or damage to product or equipment
may be possible.
