1.0 Using this Manual
This operation and maintenance manual provides the user with the basic knowledge to operate and
maintain Sentry Air Systems AirHawk Ductless containment Hood equipment.
This manual may not be copied in whole and/or in part without written permission of Sentry Air

Safety Signal Words
Following ISO 3864-2 guidelines, when applying safety signal words to our documentation, we consider
both the likelihood and the severity of events that could occur if instructions in this manual are not
followed.
Our definitions are noted in the following table.
If an accident occurs, serious injury or death is almost certain.
If a hazardous situation occurs, serious injury or death is possible.
Personal injury and/or property injury is a credible possibility.
Notes practices not related to personal injury.
There are safety signal words and symbols on pages 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, and 18 of this
document.
Please read them before operating your hood.
