identification function again.
7. Replacing the battery on control panel mainboard
It is recommended that the status of clock and RAM memory backup battery be checked e.g.
during periodical inspections, at least every 5 years. The battery life depends on:
•
temperature,
•
humidity,
•
time during which the control panel power supply is off,
•
battery self-discharge.
If the battery is low, it must be replaced with a new one of the same type (CR1220).
Be particularly careful during replacement of the battery. The manufacturer is
not liable for the consequences of incorrect installation of the battery.
Replace the battery when the control panel power supply (main or backup) is on.
If you remove the battery when the control panel power supply is off, the data
stored in the RAM memory (event log, user data, clock settings) will be lost.
