Overview

 

The PC-52D is a compact and lightweight portable anemometer. It conveniently fits in the pocket, and 

so can easily be carried for measuring outdoors, such as when mountain climbing, camping, fishing, 

yachting, windsurfing or gliding.

In  addition  to  ordinary  units  such  as  m/s  (meter/second),  ft/min  (feet/minute),  knot,  the  wind  chill 

factor and Beaufort wind scale can be displayed.

  LCD display pane: 

Display measured values and the operating status of the device. 

  ON/OFF/HOLD key: 

Pressing  this  key  turns  the  power  on  or  off.  While  the  device  is  on, 

pressing and holding the key holds (freezes) the readings. 

  UNIT/MODE key: 

Use to switch the measured unit or measurement mode. 

  Wind velocity sensor (vane, propeller): 

 

Wind velocity is measured by monitoring the revolving vane (propeller). 

  Temperature sensor:  Temperature is measured by this thermistor-type sensor. 

 

Battery lid: 

This lid covers the coin cell battery (CR2032) compartment.
