Cleaning the Resin Tank
A failed print may leave small, partially-cured pieces of resin floating in the tank or hard cured resin
stuck to the film in the base of the tank. This debris needs to be removed before printing again.
▪
Avoid exposing the resin tank to too much natural light. Keep away from sunlight will stop the
resin from curing in the tank.
▪
Remove the resin tank from the printer and place the resin tank on a clean paper towel making
sure not to scratch the bottom of the film.
▪
Use a clear plastic bag that seals to put the cured debris from the resin into.
▪
Slide the plastic scraper around the tank until all of the debris has been found and removed into a
plastic bag.
▪
If the cured resin is stuck to the film apply moderate pressure to pry from different angles or
increase pressure to detach cured resin from the film’s surface.
▪
Pour the rest of the resin from the resin tank back into the bottle using a filter. Once the resin tank
is empty, be sure to clean it thoroughly with warm soapy water.
▪
Dry the resin tank with a dry cloth making sure no resin or water remains.
