Operating Instructions

1. Line up the grooves of the cabbage holder with the ridges in the frame of the 
    cabbage shredder.  Slide the holder onto the frame of the cabbage shredder.  
    The holder should move easily along the length of the cabbage shredder.  
    Keep your fingers clear from the blades as they are extrememly sharp.
2. Place the cabbage shredder on a food lug or other container to catch the 
    shredded product.
3. Cabbage may be sliced whole or you may also cut the heads in half to make 
    them more manageable in the holder.
4. Place the cabbage into the holder and slide the holder over the blades.  The 
    shredded product will fall into the container.  Use caution when shredding as 
    the blades are very sharp.  Once the piece of cabbage gets too small to safetly 
    continue shredding without cutting your fingers, remove from the holder and 
    finish the process by hand.

Cleaning Procedure

1. Slide the holder off of the frame of the cabbage shredder.
2. All parts are Stainless Steel, so the unit is dishwasher safe.
3. Thoroughly wash and dry the cabbage shredder after every use.
