Measure
the
leading
edge
of
the
elevator
and
make
a
small
mark
at
the
midpoint.
Do
the
same
for
the
trailing
edge
of
the
horizontal
fuselage.

Make
glue
hinges.
Pin
to
the
building
board
each
of
the
hinged
parts,
with
bevel
cut
down
against
the
building
board.
Locate
the
parts
with
the
mating
surfaces
gently
touching,
ensuring
that
the
parts
are
centered
or
otherwise
aligned
correctly,
depending
on
the
surface.
Run
the
smallest
possible
bead
of
foam
glue
along
each
seam.
Run
a
finger
along
each
seam
to
push
the
glue
between
the
mating
parts.
Blot
up
excess
glue
with
a
paper
towel.
Let
dry
at
sufficiently
for
the
glue
to
fully
cure.
Leaving
the
parts
overnight
is
ideal
for
the
strongest
and
most
true
bond.

BUILDING
TIP:
It
helps
to
use
some
weight
to
hold
the
parts
in
alignment
while
the
glue
is
curing
if
you
choose
not
to
use
pins.
