PAGING and INTERCOM
Locate misplaced handset(s)
To locate the handset(s) while not on the base unit, press
[Int./Page] on the base unit. To locate a specific handset,
using [▼ ] / [▲ ] scroll keys to access the handset name and
press [O.K.] to page. To locate all handsets in range, select
“ALL HANDSETS” and press [O.K.].
The paged handset(s) in range will display “PAGING FROM
BASE”, and emit an alert signal that is different from others, e.g. incoming call.
If the paged handset is set to Intercom auto answer mode (refer to page 28), it will be connected
automatically in speakerphone mode.
To stop a paging call, press [Int./Page] again or press [EXIT] on the handset or on the base unit.
If no handset answers, the paging call will automatically stop after 30 seconds.
Note: The handset being paged will ring even if the ringer is set to OFF.
Intercom between handsets
A handset can intercom with another handset registered to the
same base unit. For details, please refer to page 49.
SETTING ALARM
An alarm m ay be set to rem ind you of an im portant time of the day.
Press [M ENU].
Using [▼ ] / [▲ ] to access “SET ALARM ”.
Press [O.K.] to enter into the selection.
Using [EDIT] to switch the alarm On / Off.
Using [▼ ] / [▲ ] and the keypad to set the alarm time.
Press [SAVE] to confirm setting.
When alarm is switched on, an alarm icon will be displayed
while the phone is idle.
Note: The alarm is only active when the phone is idle. If you are accessing the menu or having
a conversation at the alarm time, the alarm will be delayed until the phone becomes idle.
