RECORDING AUDIBLE NAM E
You can record nam es in your own voice and associate them to the entries in your
General Directory. W hen the phone rings from any of these numbers, the recorded
nam e is announced instead of the number.
After a num ber and nam e is saved, you will see “NAME
SAVED” and the display will prom pt you to record a nam e
for Audible Caller ID to associate with the displayed
phone num ber after 2 seconds.
Note: If you enter a num ber which is already existed in
the directory, “RE-RECORD?” will be displayed.
Press [O.K.] softkey and “SPEAK AFTER TONE” will
appear on the display. W ait for the “Beep” and then say
clearly the word(s) you want to record.
You will have 3 seconds for recording. You can save
your m essage by pressing [SAVE] softkey right after you
finished, or your m essage will be saved autom atically
after you hear the “Beep”.
After recording, the phone plays the recorded m essage.
W hen finished, press [EXIT] softkey.
If you want to re-record it, press [EDIT] softkey during
m essage playing. “RE-RECORD?” is displayed. Press
[O.K.] to confirm and “SPEAK AFTER TONE” is
displayed, wait for the “beep” and then repeat the
previous steps.
Note:
To have audible Caller ID from the handset, you m ust TURN ON both “Audible
CID” on handset and “Audible Name” on base unit (see page 43 for m ore details).
