REDIAL Function
The phone supports 2 redial functions:
1. Last Number Redial – to redial the last dialed number, pickup the handset and press
REDIAL/PAUSE
button. The phone will automatically redial the last number dialed.
2. Memory Redial – the phone stores the last 15 dialed calls. To dial a call from
memory, with handset on-hook, press the
REDIAL/PAUSE
button and use the
and buttons to scroll through the dialed call records. When the number you
want to redial is displayed, pick up handset and the number displayed on the LCD
will be dialed.
PAUSE Function
Use this function when a delay is needed in an automatic dialing sequence. For
example, when you must dial a 9 to get an outside line or when you enter codes to
access your long distance company. A pause may also be stored in AUTO DIAL and
other memory dial entries.
FLASH Button
If you subscribe to “Call Waiting” (a special telephone service) the
FLASH
button is
used to connect the line to another incoming call or to establish a dial tone to make
another call while still connected to the initial caller.
Note: If you do not subscribe to Call Waiting, pressing the
FLASH
button during a
call will disconnect the current call.
AUTO DIAL Function
Up to 10 phone numbers or Centrex system commands can be stored and dialed
using the AUTO DIAL function. An index label has been provided to attach to the
handset for reference of your stored AUTO DIAL entries. To store a number using
the AUTO DIAL function:
1. Press
SAVE
button (LCD Displays “--->”)
2. Enter phone number or Centrex command using the 12 button dialing keypad.
3. Press
SAVE
button (LCD Displays “--->?”)
4. Using the dialing keypad, store the number by entering a key
0-9
(LCD displays
“SAVE OK”)
To dial a number stored:
1. Press the
AUTO DIAL
key
2. Press the key (
0-9
) on the dialing keypad where the number has been stored.
3. Lift the handset.
MUTE Function
Pressing the
MUTE
button turns off the telephones microphone so that the other
party cannot hear you, but you can hear them. Pressing the
MUTE
button again
restores connection to the microphone so the other party can again hear you. The
LCD will display “MUTE” while the function is active.
Phone Book Function
You can store 70 numbers and names in the phone book, refer to the “FUNCTION
Functions
