Ringer Volume Switch
Set the ringer volume switch to the desired position (HI/LOW/OFF). To have the maximum
ringer volume, move the ringer volume switch to the HI position. To have a low ringer
volume, move the ringer volume switch to the LOW position. If you would prefer the
ringer not to disturb you, move the ringer volume switch to the OFF position.
Volume Function
You may adjust the handset volume by selecting either the LOUD or NORM from the
switch on the right side of the phone.
Pulse/Tone Switch
Set it to TONE if you have “touch tone dialing”, or set it to PULSE if you have a
“rotary dial phone”.
Headset Function
To use a headset, connect a headset with a 2.5mm connector into the headset jack.
To make a call, lift the phone handset off the hook and place next to the phone. A
dial tone will be heard on the headset and the phone may be dialed. To end the call,
put the handset back on the hook.
Note: When a headset is connected to the headset jack, the speaker and
microphone on the handset are not active.
