Residual H eat W arning
When t he hob has been operat ing for som e t im e, t here will be som e residual
heat . The let t er “ H ” appears t o warn you t o keep away from it .
Aut o Shut dow n
Anot her safet y feat ure of the hob is auto shut down. This occurs whenever you
forget t o switch off a cooking zone. The default shutdown t im es are shown in
t he t able below:

Using t he Tim er
You can use t he t im er in two different ways:
• You can use it as a m inut e m inder. I n t his case, the t im er will not t urn any
cooking zone off when t he set t im e is up.
• You can set it t o t urn one cooking zone off or m ore than one aft er t he set t im e is
up.
• You can set t he t im er for up t o 99 m inut es.

I f you are not select ing any cook ing zone
1. Make sure t he cookt op is t urned on.
Not e: you can use t he m inut e m inder even if you’re not select ing any cooking
zones.
