3.1 Freezer Control System
4x20 characters LCD
This device is a visual user interface which has the following functions:

As main display (normal mode):

Line 1
Displays the product name and the current time in 12-hour format

Line 2
Displays the current freezer set point

Line 3
Shows the sensed ambient temperature

Line 4
Displays alarm status; this line is updated every 3 seconds in case more
than 1 alarm has occurred

As navigation display: navigate the user to the menu options provided on the menu display

This device is a visual user interface which shows the actual temperature inside the freezer.
MENU button
To access the PIN authentication display or to access the menu tree directly if PIN is disabled. Please
refer to
section 3.7.1
.
SET button
To enter sub menu, confirm any selection or option, or new value when navigating the menu display.
UP and DOWN button
To increase/decrease a value in a menu option, to scroll up/down text display, or to move menu
pointer ‘>’ up and down.
MUTE button
To mute audible alarm sound when there is an alarm.
Mute LED
This LED lights up when the MUTE button is pressed to mute the beeping alarm.
