Use a standard, ‘8 pin’, 1-to-1 Ethernet
network cable to connect the Shuttle
C
to your Ethernet network.
IMPORTANT
Make sure you apply proper cabling when using the
SG-15
Colour
Power-over- Ethernet version (IEEE802.3af PoE).
PoE uses either the 4 data lines (1,2,3,6), called End-Span, OR the
not used lines (4,5,7,8), called Mid-Span.
Which method is used, depends on the supplying network switch.
The Shuttle
C
SG-15
Colour
supports both methods automatically.
