Maintenance

D isconn ect the AC a dapter before main taining the p layer.
W ipe the playe r with a dry, soft cloth.
If the su rfaces are ex treme ly dirty ,wipe clean with a cloth which has be en dip ped in a
w eak so ap-and -wate r solu tion an d wrun g out thorou ghly, a nd the n wip e again with a
dr y cloth .
N ever us e alco hol, b enzine , thinn er, cle aning fluid o r othe r chem icals. And do not u se
co mpressed a ir to re move d ust

If the disc is brought from a cold to a warm environment
moisture may form on the disc

Wipe this moisture off wi th a so ft, dry, lint-free clo th befo re usi ng the disc.

Improper disc storage

You can d amage discs if you store them in the followin g plac es:

A reas e xpose d to di rect su nlight
H umid or dus ty area s
A reas d irectly exposed to a heat outlet or hea ting a pplian ce

If the surface is soiled

Wip e gen tly with a sof t, dam p (water only ) cloth .
Wh en wip ing dis cs, always m ove th e clot h from the ce ntre h ole tow ard th e outs ide, w hich
will not ca use di stortio n. (If y ou wip e the discs u sing a circul ar mot ion, ci rcular scratc hes ar e
like ly to o ccur, w hich w ill cau se dis tortion .)

Ho ld the disc by the e dges s o the surfac e will n ot be s oiled with fin gerpr ints. F ingerp rints,
dir t and s cratch es ca n caus e skipping an d dist ortion.
Do not w rite on the la bel sid e with a ball- point p en or other w riting utens ils.
Do not us e reco rd cle aning sprays , benz ine, th inner, static electricity preventi on liqu ids.
Be careful not t o drop or ben d the disc.
Do not in stall m ore th an 1 d isc on the dis c com partment.
Do not try to clo se the disc c over w hen th e disc is not instal led pro perly.
Be sure t o store the d isc in i ts exc lusive case w hen n ot in use.
