Ignition
switch
“UP”:
Ignition is “ON”
“DOWN”:
Ignition is “OFF”
With ignition “ON”, the electrical fuel pump and the water pump are
automatically
activated.

Display
The display offers a continuous indication of engine speed (RPM)
and coolant liquid temperature (° C).
On reaching the maximum permitted engine speed of 6800 RPM or
when exceeding the max. permitted coolant liquid temperature of
110° C, the values displayed start flashing.
With less than 1000 RPM and a coolant liquid temperature of below
40° C the display is blank.
While depressing the display selector button (10), the values for
the battery voltage and fuel contents are indicated.
Note concerning the fuel quantity indicator:
The number of Liters indicated depends on the rating of the fuel
used.
The standard setting of the indicator is for AVGAS 100 LL.
If premium gasoline is used, the reading is 20% more.
A re-calibration (with fuselage tank filled = 12 Liter; 3.17 US Gal.,
2.64 IMP Gal.) for another rated full is achieved by depressing the
port white CAL button until figure i.e. [094] is displayed.
On releasing this button the indicator is automatically calibrated to
show a fuel quantity of 12 Liter as usuable from the fuselage tank.

(16) Test switch for ignition circuits
By switching to
I
or
II
, the individual ignition circuits may be
checked.
