13.11 Maintenance intervals
The information given here refers to normal operating conditions.
In difficult conditions, such as heavy dust generation and
longer daily working hours, the specified intervals should be shortened accordingly.

13.12 Service information
With this product, it is necessary to note that the fol-
lowing parts are subject to natural or usage-related
wear, or that the following parts are required as con-
sumables.
Wearing parts*: Saw chain, guide bar, chain wheel,
chain oil, engine oil, claw stop, chain catcher, spark
plug, air filter, fuel filter, chain oil filter
* may not be included in the scope of supply!
14. Storage
• Always use the guide bar cover (27) when storing.
• The spark plug wrench (28) can be inserted on the
underside of the machine.
• Clean and maintain the device every time before
storage, see chapter “Cleaning and maintenance”.
• Store the device in a safe, dry, frost-free, well-ven-
tilated place protected from the weather. Outdoor
storage is not advisable. Also secure it from unau-
thorised access.
• Empty the oil or fuel tank with a suction pump.

WARNING
Do not empty the fuel tank in enclosed areas, near fire
or when smoking. Petrol fumes can cause explosions
and fire.
• Start the engine and let it run until the remaining
petrol is used up.
15. Disposal and recycling
The device is supplied in packaging to avoid trans-
port damages. This packaging is raw material and can
thus be used again or can be reintegrated into the raw
material cycle.
The device and its accessories are made of different
materials, such as metals and plastics. Take defective
components to special waste disposal sites. Check
with your specialist dealer or municipal administration!
The packaging is wholly composed of environ-
mentally-friendly materials that can be disposed
of at a local recycling centre.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
electrical devices.
Fuels and oils
Fuel residues, oils and liquids used for cleaning must
be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner!
Empty oil and fuel tanks must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Dispose of liquids and containers at appropriate col-
lection centres.
