Controls
The MVPHD-24 is controlled by a menu driven system. Control menus are divided into categories and
selected by pressing one of the ten category buttons. When a category is active, the corresponding button will
illuminate yellow and a control menu will appear on the front panel display.
Pressing NEXT or PREV (previous) will step through all the control menus available for that category.
The rotary knob and the
+
and
–
buttons are used to make changes and adjustments to the displayed menus.
Icons will appear on the display to indicate which controls are active.
indicates that the rotary knob is
active. indicates that the + and – buttons are active.
For some control menus, a “PUSH KNOB TO ENTER” message will appear along the bottom of the menu.
In these cases, pushing in on the rotary knob will activate the new selection.
Control Menus
INPUTS:
This button is used to access menus for selecting and configuring inputs.
Menu:
Input Source:
This menu is used to select the video input source for the MVPHD-24.
The current selected source is always shown at the top left corner of the front panel display.
Options are: Composite*, Y/C*, YPbPr*, RGB*, SDI, VGA, HDMI, Buffer1-4, and RasPi.
Use the Knob or +/- buttons to select the desired source.
Once a source is selected, push on the knob to enter selection.
The new selection will now appear at the top left corner of the front panel display.

Menu:
Input YPbPr Level:
This menu is used to configure the input signal levels when using the YPbPr source.
Options are: EIA770/EBU, or Betacam.
Note: EIA770/EBU is 100% color = 700mV, Betacam is 75% color = 700mV
Use the Knob or +/- buttons to change the signal level.
