►
►
The tube lifter must not be operated without the safety features.
Safety features must not be altered or disabled.
2.13.1 Non-return valve in the rotary union
The rotary union contains a non-return valve that slowly lowers the tube lifter and prevents the load
from falling when the vacuum supply fails (see chapter 2.9).
2.13.2 Vacuum limiting valve
The tube lifter may be operated only with the vacuum limiting valve (9) set to the factory setting of
520 mbar.
Setting vacuum too high may cause lifting hose to implode.
2.14 Equipotential bonding
All electrically conductive components of the tube lifter are connected to one another
through equipotential bonding. The grounding connections are labeled (see figure 5.3).
2.15 Optional accessories
2.15.1 Quick-change adapter
The quick-change adapter is intended for swift, tool-free suction cup
replacement. For more information, see chapter 6.4.2.
2.15.2 Rotation unit
With the rotation unit, vacuum-gripped workpieces weighing up to 200 kg
can be continuously rotated and positioned precisely. The rotation unit is
particularly useful for stacking cardboard boxes on pallets or in grid boxes.
