1. Open the filter housing.
2. Remove the filter cartridge (2.1) from the housing.
3. Replace heavily contaminated or damaged filter cartridge.
4. Blow the filter cartridges from the inside out (never wash or brush
it).
5. Filter cartridges must be blown from the inside out using dry
compressed air (max. 5 bar) until there are no more dust
formations.
6. Insert the filter cartridge (2.1).
7. Ensure that the filter cartridge (2.1) is grounded with the
housing using 3 spring clips (2.2, see figure).
8. Close the cover.
To blow out the unit, set a pipe on a compressed-air gun that is bent at the end by
approx. 90°. The pipe must be long enough to reach the bottom of the cartridge.
9.3.2 Operator handle dust filter
The dust filter in the operator handle filters the ambient air that is sucked into the valve unit when
lowering the tube lifter. If this filter is blocked, the tube lifter can no longer be lowered and the load can
no longer be released from the suction cup. If the tube lifter is lowered slowly in the “Release” position
on the operator handle, this indicates that the filter is soiled or blocked.
