8 Description of Functions
8.1 Operating Modes
8.1.1 Automatic Operation
Once the ejector is connected to the power supply, it is ready for operation and enters automatic opera-
tion mode. This is the normal operating mode, in which the ejector is operated by the system controller.
The operating mode may be changed from automatic to manual mode using the buttons.
Parameterization of the ejector is always performed in automatic operation mode.
8.1.2 Manual Mode

Electrical connection may be performed only by specialists who can evaluate the effects
of signal changes on the overall system.
In manual mode, the “suction” and “blow-off” ejector functions can be controlled independently of the
higher-level controller using the buttons on the foil keypad of the operating element. This function is
used, among other things, to detect and eliminate leakages in the vacuum circuit.
In this operating mode, the “SP1” and “SP2” LEDs both flash.

Ensure that the danger zone of the system is clear of people during operation.

It is not possible to activate manual mode.
Access to manual mode is locked by the controller. This status is indicated by the code E90
on the display.
