Wiring
4.2.1
General information on wiring
This chapter contains important information on the wiring of the PROTECT-PSC,
which must be followed for safe and trouble-free operation.
The electrical equipment must be wired in conpliance with IEC 60439-1, 7.8.3.
The maximum admissible length of free hanging cable is 30 cm.
Power supply
The power supply units used for power supply must satisfy the requirements
specified in Chapter 3.5.2 / 3
–23. The power supply for the POWER / BOOSTER /
CPU module and the safe/operational modules can be provided from the power
supply unit of the module or separate power supply units. Chapter 4.2.5 / 4
contains a calculation example of the value of the fuse F2.
