The simple electrical apparatus fulfil the requirements
of the type of protection “Intrinsic safety“ (EN 60 079-11,
EN 61 241-11). Under the listed installation conditions these can
be used in the defined explosion-endangered areas.
The installation conditions (e.g. EN 60 079-14, EN 61 241-14), the safety
designations (national designations too) and the accident prevention
regulations must be pointed out.
Conditions to intrinsically safe circuits:
Only one intrinsically safe circuit may be connected to the module
•
SRB 200EXi-1R.
Make sure that the self-safety of the circuit is not affected.
•
Housings consider at least the protection type IP 54 (EN 60 529) at
•
gas, IP6X at dust (IP5X at not conductive dusts in zone 22).
