Elevator positioning system USP 30 / 100
Installation of the correction sensor
and the actuating magnets for the
USP 100 system
Installation of the correction sensor
The correction sensor is designed as a Hall sensor and
guarantees a higher precision and a greater travel height
for the USP 100. Additionally differences in the length of
the shaft caused by temperature changes or the settle-
ment of the building will be equalized.
Travel up in ”inspection travel” mode so that you can get from
the roof of the elevator cabin to the floor through the open
elevator door.
Drill two fastening holes (max. M4) in the right-hand or left-hand
side of the elevator cabin, ideally above the door mechanism
at a fixed element or underneath the threshold of the elevator
cabin, and attach the correction sensor with screws, as illustra-
ted.
Ensure during the installation that the correction sensor is not
attached to a moving part of the door mechanism and clear of
any moving parts.
Lay the cable in place over the elevator cabin and connect it to
the terminal strip of the travelling cable (see the connection dia-
gram on page 60).
