Important!
All work must be carried out by
qualified instructed specialist
personnel only.
During operation, it is possible that the function can be disrupted, but in most cases, troubleshooting is
relatively easy.
The malfunctions are listed in Table 9.1 with possible causes and resulting remedies.

Malfunction
Possible cause
Remedy
1) Switching slider (1) is difficult to
move.
Switching slider dirty or defective.
Dismantle the bearing pin (2).
Dismantle the switching slider (1) to the
front, clean and grease it lightly if
necessary.
2) Blade has stopped running.
The motor is defective.
Dismantle blade with guide pin (3).
Dismantle pneumatic motor (4) and
check for damage, replace if necessary.
3) Blade has stopped running or
runs sluggishly.
Motor/gear unit defective or rotor
blade worn.
See point 2); however, check rotor blade
(4a) for wear and replace if necessary.
4) Guide pin has stopped rotating.
Guide pin breakage or point 2) or 3).
Dismantle the blade.
Check guide pin for breakage and
replace if necessary.
5) Significant wear or loud running
noises.
Gear unit defective/worn or too little oil
in the gear unit.
Check the oil mist lubricator for
prescribed oil quantity, correct if
necessary.
Check gear unit, complete, and all
bearings, clean and grease lightly.
Replace any faulty parts.
6) Machine is getting hot.
Machine dirty/worn or pressure too
high.
Check the compressed air at the
pressure gauge (max. 8 bar).
Check the device for soiling (inside), if
necessary sent it to the factory or take it
to an authorised specialist dealer for
inspection in the workshop.
