Fig. 5.
Fix the support flange (P1) to the ceiling with the 3 anchors supplied with Ø
14mm (A), respecting the measures indicated in the drawing. The folded external plaps
should face downwards.
Fig. 6.
Pull out the polystyrene support (P2) from the cardboard box and lay it on a
sufficiently strong surface to support the weight of the hood, then gently place the
body of the hood (P3) on the support (P2).
Pull out the glass ball P4 from the cardboard box and insert it externally to the body of
the hood (P3) passing the support cables and the power cord
inside.
Finally, pass the 3 support cables and the power cable through the circular stainless-
steel cover (P5), making sure that the flat part of the cover is facing downwards.
Fig. 7.
Pass each of the 3 support cables coming out from the cover (P5), in
succession through: the external flaps of the flange (P1), then in the Gripple fastening
(P6), and finally in the internal flaps of the flange (P1). Then return backwards with the
support cable following the reverse sequence.
Fix the cover (P5) with the side screw. If you accidentally let too much cable pass
through the Gripple fastening and the hood is too far from the hob,
release the Glipple fastening with the special button present in the same lock and
then pull the cable.
The hood is equipped with all the necessary fastenings for its installation, which are
suitable for most surfaces. Verify that the installation surface is strong.
Installation must be carried out by qualified installers according to present regulations.
3. OPERATION
The hood is supplied with a multispeed motor.
The hood should be run at low speed under normal conditions and at higher speeds
only when there is a heavy build-up of fumes or odors.
Ideally, the hood should be switched on as soon as cooking is started and then kept on
until all odors have been eliminated.
For the remote-control buttons, refer to Fig. 8 at the beginning of this manual.
•
T1: switching on and off of the motor. The LED in the hood will flash at each pulse
received from the remote control, every 10 seconds it will flash
•
cyclically as many times as the selected speed (1 flash = first speed, 2 flashes =
second speed, 3 flashes = third speed, 4 flashes = Booster).
•
In the booster speed (maximum suction), the aspirator remains in this speed for 5
minutes, after which it will automatically switch to the third speed.
•
T2 - T3: switching on and off the lighting.
•
T4: increase motor speed.
•
T5: decrease motor speed.
•
S1 LED: confirms signal transmission to the motor / to the lighting.
•
S2 LED: low battery warning of the remote control.
