7. Care and cleaning
Glass surfaces
Surfaces may be cleaned with household glass cleaner and a sponge, tissue or paper towel. Cleaners containing alcohol
may be used but the alcohol content should be no greater than 30%-40% of the solution. Remove any oily contamination
with a grease cutting cleaner.
Door hinging
Greasing of the door hinging is not necessary. Clean dirt by wiping it away with a dry tissue.
Aluminum material
Clean the surface by wiping with a soft cloth.Using hard materials such as a metal scraper or a scrubbing brush will
damage the surface and cause corrosion.
The aluminum surface is treated with anti-corrosion anodic oxide coating. However, salt, acid, alkali or water containing
such substances will cause corrosion when coming into contact with the aluminum surface. Therefore, immediately wipe
away such substances.
Plastic and rubber parts and magnetic sealings
Clean the plastic / rubber surfaces with a soft tissue or towel, that was slightly moistened with water. Do avoid organic
solvents.
For Cleaning purposes do not use
•
Razor blades or knives
•
Cleaners which contain moisturizers, abrasives, strong acids, or caustic substances (e.g. Ajax, Scotch-Brite or
similar cleaners)
8. Troubleshooting and problem solving
General points
•
Repairs and replacement must be conducted by professionals. Spare parts and guidance are available upon
request
•
Opening the door wider than the door stop position will cause parts to distort. This may interfere with correct
opening/closing of the door or may result in system damages and causing injury
•
During restocking, open the doors fully and load the goods, be careful not to scratch the glass
•
Do not hang heavy items from the door or handle. Do not use the door as climbing aid. Also, do not stand or place
your foot on the lower parts of the system
•
Do not modify the product
•
Abnormal operation may result in injury, electric shock or fire.
