2.10.1 Castor with direction lock
For easier movement, the sub-frame of any
size is equipped with a castor (

) with direc-
tion lock (

). To release the lock of this cas-
tor, pull the direction lock (
C
) gently upwards
and turn it a quarter turn to the left or right.
Now the castor (
B
) can be moved freely. To
lock the castor again, simply turn back the
direction lock (
C
). As soon as the castor (
B
) is
aligned straight, the direction lock will engage.
2.10.2 Measures before the transfer
The following measures must be carried out before the transfer:
• all fine adjustments to the individual components must have been carri-
ed out (see
Point 3
).
• the user must have been secured against unintentional falling out of the
frame (see
Point 3.8
).
• the supine and standing position must have been reduced to the smal-
lest possible adjustment (see

).
