Always mount both safety elements – wing bolts
and safety splints! If one of these elements is not
assembled in accordance with the instructions,
the coupling may release from the bicycle. Check
the wing bolts and safety splints regularly for
tight fit, ideally prior to each journey.
Then unhook the strut on the pin, and either suspend it with the suspension
strap (

) on the saddle or the luggage carrier (
