4.10 Hip positioning aid
The hip positioning aid (

) helps people to
walk tilted forwards.
´To attach the hip positioning aid (A):
• Push the loops (

) into the required position
on the top frame and/or the base frame.
• Hook the rings (
C
) into the push handles (
D
)
(see
Point 4.3
).
To change the height of the hip positioning
aid (A) on the frame:
• Loosen the screws (
E
).
• Bring the push handles including the ad-
apter clamps on the top frame and/or
base frame into the required position.
To change the height of the hip positioning
aid (A) at the rear:
• Press the buttons (
F
), bring the push hand-
les (
D
) into the required position and relea-
se the buttons (
F
) again. An audible clicking
noise is heard when the push handles have
engaged.
• The fine adjustments in height are under-
taken via the straps (
G
) and (
H
). To do this,
pull on the respective strap to bring the hip
positioning aid (
A
) to the required height.
To prevent injuries, do not mount the hip positi-
oning aid onto the foremost end of the top frame
and/or the base frame!
Then firmly re-tighten the screws again after
each setting/adjustment!
