4.7 Knee pelotte pads
The knee pelotte pads are available in two
different versions (
A
= with patella recess /
B
= with adjustable padded support bra-
ckets) which can each be adjusted in width,
in depth and angle. Moreover, the height of
the knee pelotte pads can be adjusted via
the leg length adjustment (see
Point 3.7)
.
To adjust the width, loosen the cylinder head
screw (

) and bring the knee pelotte adap-
ter (
D
) into the desired position.
To adjust the depth and the pre-setting
of the angle, please loosen the hexagon
socket screw (
E
) of the positioning aid (
F
)
and bring the knee pelotte pad into the desired position. After having
tightened again the hexagon socket screw (
E
) the positioning aid serves
as "memory function" of the set adjustment. Using the snap lock (
G
) the
knee pelotte rod (
H
) including the knee pelotte pad easily be removed and
installed. During installation, the positioning aid "automatically" finds the
set adjustments. Here it must be ensured that the positioning aid firmly
engages in the knee pelotte pad adapter. To fix the snap lock it is turned
after engagement. During removal, the snap lock is correspondingly first
unscrewed and then pulled upwards.
The swivel ball joint (

) permits three-dimen-
sional adjustment of the knee pelotte pad
angle. To do this loosen the hexagon socket
screw (
J
) and bring the knee pelotte pad
into the desired position. A combination of
the knee pelotte pad rods and the swivel
ball joint adjustment permits additional fine
adjustment of the height.
After each adjustment, please retighten all screw connections!
