General safety tips

For safe handling of this equipment, the user must have read and understand these instruc-
tions for the maschine before the first use.
●
Follow all safety instructions! If you disregard the safety, you endanger yourself and others.
●
Children should be kept away from the maschine. Store the maschine safely away from
children and unauthorized persons.
●
Secure the maschine against unintentional startup.
●
All components of the equipment, especially safety equipment must be correctly fitted to
ensure a safe operation.
●
Alterations, unauthorized modifications to the maschine and the use of unapproved parts
are prohibited.
●
Do not use power tools in explosive atmospheres, and in the presence of flammable liquids,
gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or smoke.
Dealing with power tools
●
The equipment only may be attached to an electrical outlet with a safety contact installed
duly.
●
The hedge must be made with a residual current circuit breaker (RCD) with a rated residual
current of not more than 30 mA.
●
The connection data of the maschine must fit to the global power connection.
●
The machine may be used only within the specified limits for voltage, capacity and rated
speed.
●
If necessary, use only extension cords that are appropriate for the maschine and environ-
ment. The extension cord must have a min. diameter of 1,5mm2. If the cord is on a roll, you
have to unroll it completly.
●
Never use the machine in damp or wet environments.
●
Do not lift the maschine with the cord or misuse the cable otherwise.
●
Damage to the power cord, pull immediately the plug. Never use equipment with damaged
cord or plug.
●
When working with the machine do not touch grounded objects (radiators, water pipes, etc.).
●
If the maschine is not in use, it must always be unplugged.
●
Before plugging the power plug, make sure that the maschine is turned off.
●
Before pulling the plug, always switch off the maschine.
●
De-energize the unit during transport.
