Cleaning the machine

Solvents can damage parts of the
machine, produce poisonous vapour and
carry the risk of explosion.
Do not use cleaning agents containing
solvents.

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

Never scratch or scrape with sharp
objects.

Casings and control areas should only
be cleaned with soap or a commercially
available, solvent-free, non-abrasive
cleaning product.

Cleaning the drum

Rust marks caused by metal parts
standing still for lengthy periods can be
removed with a chlorine-free cleaning
product (look at the description of the
ingredients on the pack).
Descaling the machine
Lime scale formation depends largely
on the hardness of the water.If the
correct amounts of detergent are used,
descaling is no longer necessary in gen-
eral. If you do, however, wish to descale
the machine, follow the manufacturer’s
instructions on the packet.
Notice
Descalers contain acids, can attack
parts of the machine and cause discol-
ouration of laundry.
Check water supply hose
To avoid water damage, we recommend
having this checked by a specialist after
around 5 years of fault-free operation.
