Always unplug the machine from
the power source before carrying
out maintenance work.

Additionally, hot water can leak out
through the rubber seal on the door
opening.

Let the laundry cool before
removing it.
Components sticking out from the
machine (e.g. loading door, cover
plate) may break off and cause inju-
ries, when used for lifting.

Do not grip the appliance on
components sticking out.
If a puddle forms on the floor near
the appliance (hose tear, leak, etc.),
wipe it dry and eliminate the cause
(see
Problems
).

solvent-based detergents in the
washing machine.

Textiles which contain inflam-
mable chemicals, solvent-based
detergents, must be rinsed well
in clear water by hand before
washing.

Only add laundry starch in the
final rinse (Finishing rinse).

Only use detergents, washing
agents and other additives (sof-
teners, colouring and bleaching
agents, starch etc), which are
intended for use in household
washing machines (see manufac-
turer’s information).
