3. Choke
The choke is used to enrich the air/fuel mixing during cold start. It can be opened or closed with the lever ma-
nually.
Move the lever or ring to the CLOSE position to enrich the mixture and facilitate the engine start.
4. Overload Protector / Overload Switch
The overload protector will open automatically in case of a excessive elevation of current. If disarms, verify the
application and make sure the load does not exceed the one recommended for the generator before turning it
on again.
5. Connection with an electric system
Never connect the generator directly to the electricity supply network.
In order to use the generator
as aid in cases of energy drop in an electricity network, contact a qualifi ed electrician. The generator must be
isolated from the electricity network. All applicable laws and regulations must be observed.
Improper connections might allow the energy from the network to return to the gene-
rator causing possible explosion or fi re.
ATTENTION:
WARNING:
Inappropriate connections to an electric system might allow the generator to feed the network and
cause electrocution to anyone who has contact with the network during a drop in energy. Consult a capacitated
electrician before connecting a generator to a low voltage network.
6. Grounding System
This product must be grounded. In case of a short circuit the grounding reduces the risk of electric shock through
an unloading conductor of electric current.
